Product Description
Type Touchdown fountain pen.
Product Name Imperial II. This is the non-Deluxe version of the Imperial II, but the only difference we can tell is that the cap lacks the white dot and the clip says "Sheaffer's." (We sell the Deluxe version as new old stock, but his pen is used).
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, USA, 1960s-70s.
Length 5-5/16 inches.
Filling System Touchdown Filling System is restored -- we replaced the O-ring and tested it.
Color Grey plastic body with a brushed steel cap with chrome plated trim.
Nib Short conical Triumph nib is silver colored and unmarked, but it's a fine.
Condition Very nice condition with just some microscratching and a couple of very light scuffs on the barrel. The section is a tiny bit scratched from the cap sliding on, but looks quite nice. The cap is the only flaw, with light scratching all around it and a little plating wear on the clip where you can see hints of brassing on the edges and minor scratching (see photos).
