Type Cartridge filling fountain pen, working very well.
Product Name "Lifetime" version which later became the Imperial IV. In 1963, to celebrate their 50th anniversary, Sheaffer renamed some of the white dot Imperial models Lifetime which is marked on the nib, clip, cap, and barrel.

Filling System This version of the Imperial IV was one of Sheaffer's first cartridge pens. It takes Sheaffer cartridges, but if you have one of the hard to find button converters, it will fit. No converter is included, but we will include a Sheaffer cartridge.
Color Black plastic cap and barrel with gold plated trim and a wide cap band.
Nib FINE 14k long diamond inlaid nib is smooth with nice tipping, and has just a hint of flex to it.
Condition Very nice condition, though the pen shows wear. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, personalization, or plating brassing. There are some light scratches and marks of wear on the cap and barrel. The imprints are a little worn, but mostly readable. The pen has been cleaned and tested, it's working very well.
