Product Name Imperial Triumph. There were two versions made primarily identified by whether or not the cap band said, "Sheaffer" or "Sheaffer's." In this case, all say "Sheaffer -- Made in USA".
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- 1970s.
Length The fountain pen is 5-1/2". The pencil is 5-1/16". The ballpoint is 5-3/16".
Filling System The fountain pen is a touchdown filler that has been restored with a new sac and o-ring. The ballpoint pen takes Sheaffer-style ballpoint refills. A working refill is installed. The mechanical pencil takes 0.9mm leads. A packet of leads will be included. The "reminder clip" ballpoint pen extends and retracts the tip via the clip whereas the pencil leads extend and retract via a twist mechanism. All pieces have the white dot.
Color Gold filled or plated in grouped sets of eight fine lines. There's a blank cartouche on the barrel designed so the pieces can be engraved. The pencil has a grey square at the top of its cap, and the ballpoint has a black square. probably to make it easier to tell them apart.
Nib FINE 14k diamond-inlay nib, verging on the extra fine.
Condition Excellent + condition, in original box, with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautiful, elegant, shiny set. All the pieces have some light microscratching. The cone of the mechanical pencil has some miniscule dot marks. The white dots are perfect. The imprints are clear.
