Product Description
Type | Fountain pen with Touchdown filling system |
Product Name | Imperial Triumph (not to be confused with the Triumph Imperials of the 1990s, or the Triumph nibs of the 1940s.) |
Manufacturer and Year | Sheaffer, USA, 1970s |
Length | 5-7/16" |
Filling System | Touchdown filling system. We've restored it and it's working perfectly. |
Color | Gold plated in a pattern of batches of eight fine lines. There's a blank cartouche on the barrel designed so the pen can be engraved. |
Nib | 14k inlaid nib is a very big broad. Quite smooth with just a little flex to it. |
Condition | Very nice condition. There are a few small dents in the cap, some are just pin-pricks, and the ends of the cap and barrel are a little dented in as well (see photos). There's a bit of brassing along the corners at the ends of the cap and barrel, and the pen has a bit of microscratching. The section has one scratch, and some wear from the cap going on and off. Despite its wear, the pen is still quite attractive, especially considering its broad nib. |
