Sheaffer Imperial VIII Touchdown Fountain Pen - Gold Cap, 14k Nib (New old Stock)

Product Name	Imperial VIII (it's marked via a sticker on the cap). The was the top of the line for the non-metal bodied Imperials, just one step down from the PFM. In fact, it looks like the little brother to the PFM V.

Filling System	Touchdown (vacuum) filling system - in perfect working order with excellent suction ... it makes that nice "whoosh" sound. We have tested each pen's filling system with water, and replaced O-rings and checked the sac for leaks or weakness. The filling system is guaranteed to function properly and not leak for a period of one year. We include instructions on operating the Touchdown filling system.
Color	The body is plastic, and the cap is gold plated with a lined design. The trim (clip, cap ring) are gold plated.
Nib	14k inlaid nib. Very smooth.
Condition BRAND NEW OLD STOCK FROM THE 1960s!	This pen is new old stock from the 1960s. It has never been used and the pen has never been inked. It is close to perfect aside from a few micro-scratches picked up in storage. Not returnable for a full refund if the pen has been filled with ink.
