Product Name Intrigue, gold plated limited edition. Only 350 were made.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- this limited edition came out in 2000. They also made one in palladium plate.
Length 5-7/16 inches.
Filling System Interesting piston converter system that is operated by turning the knob on the end of the barrel. The converter can be removed in order to use Sheaffer style cartridges. These special Intrique converters are extremely hard to find.
Color Gold plated finish. Some areas have a brushed "matte" finish.
Nib MEDIUM two-tone 18k gold Intrigue inlaid nib section. It's smooth with nice tipping material and just a hint of softness, though there's not really any line variation.
Condition Excellent condition. No crack or chips, dings or dents, personalization, or plating wear. There are a few light scratches on the barrel, but overall the pen looks fantastic. It's working well with the included Intrigue converter.
