Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name Uncommon "Lady Lifetime" fountain pen (the nib is marked). It's a smaller size model with a clip and a white dot on the flat top of the cap. Usually these Lady Lifetime pens were ring tops.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA – the Lady Lifetime model was only made from 1926-1928.
Length Just over 4-1/2".
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Lined Black Hard Rubber with gold plated trim.
Nib FINE Lady Lifetime gold nib is smooth and firm with nice tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a small, dark, shiny pen with good line definition all around. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and some small marks and scratches alongside the lever and near the end of the barrel. The lever has long, thin scratch lines but no plating wear or pitting. The cap has light scratching with marks here and there. The cap band has one short deep scratch near the upper edge. Otherwise, the cap band has moderate micro-scratching. The clip has plating wear on the ball edge as well as brassing and just light microscratching elsewhere. The imprints are clear.
