Filling System Takes Sheaffer cartridges and converters. We have installed a piston converter.
Color Blue lacquer using matte and gloss layers to give the pen the look of leather (almost a tiger print, but blue). It is a smooth pen but still has the texture from the pattern as well. Gold plated trim. This finish is called, "Re-assuring Blue."
Nib MEDIUM 18k Sheaffer inlaid nib.
Condition Near mint condition in box with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a large, impressive looking pen in a great color and with unique patterning. The cap and barrel have a few light marks. The barrel has some miniscule dots here and there. The patterning and color make any marks difficult to see. The 3/8" cap band has light microscratching. The clip looks great. The white dot is perfect. The imprint on the cap band is clear.
