Filling System Takes Sheaffer style cartridges, or you can fill it with bottled ink via the included piston converter.
Color Olive green and black with gold accents. The acrylic is a bit like the vintage candy stripe patterns. It has a pair of 1/16" cap bands and 22k electroplated trim.
Nib Medium 18k nib. Sheaffer's Feather Touch nib is smooth and springy with nice tipping material. The palladium masking is in great condition.
Condition Near mint condition. These Sheaffer Balance II models are very prone to cracking from posting and from pulling on the clip. This pen doesn't have any cracks. The pattern and color hide microscratching on the cap and barrel. The trim is beautiful and shiny. The imprints are clear. It will be shipped in a Sheaffer box, though it is not the original Levenger box.
