Product Name 1000, as marked on the barrel. It is part of the Triumph-nibbed series.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- 1940s.
Length 5-1/16 inches.
Filling System Vac-fil system. We've fully restored and tested it, it's working very well.
Color Black body and cap with gold filled trim. The cap band is 1/4" wide. It has a white dot at the top of the cap.
Nib FINE Sheaffer's Lifetime two-tone 14k gold Triumph nib is smooth and firm with nice tipping material. It has some shape to it for slight line variation. A fair amount of the silver colored masking has worn away.
Condition Excellent condition with microscratches on the cap and barrel. There are no cracks or chips, dings or dents, personalization, or plating wear. There are capping and posting marks on the barrel. The imprints are clear. The viewing portion is translucent but heavily ambered. The pen has been fully restored and it's working well.
