Product Name Crest 1375. This is the early version of the Crest with the open nib and pointy ends.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, USA, 1937-41 (the threads that engage the cap are at the front of the section)
Length The fountain pen is 5-1/2"; the pencil is 5-1/4"
Filling System Vac-filler. The filling system has been restored by us and is working extremely well.
Color Golden brown striated body and gold filled cap, gold filled trim. Tan dot at apex of barrel.
Nib MEDIUM ITALIC open nib, two tone 14k nib. The nib has been ground to an italic here at PSP.
Condition Excellent condition with light handwear. Very good caps with no dents, but there is some brassing at top and bottom of both clips. Both the pen and pencil are personalized "Herbert Wennemar". Good visibility through barrel, which also has great color. The caps are shiney. This is a beautiful set.
