Product Name Crest, the barrel is unlabeled, but it would have cost $15.00 in the 1940s.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, USA -- 1942-48, the threads that engage the cap are at the back of the section so after 1942, and the nib has a serial number from around 1949).

Filling System Vac-filler. The filling system has been restored by us and is working extremely well.
Color Gray striated body, called "Grey Pearl" and a gold filled cap. The cap is 1/10th 14k gold and has a simple lined pattern.
Nib FINE. Two tone 14k Triumph nib. The silver color is platinum.
Condition Excellent condition. The blind cap isn't quite centered with the barrel and doesn't make perfect contact when closed all the way. The main wear is on the cap. There are some dents on top of the cap which look much worse in the photographs than in hand, but they are significant and like golf ball dimples. The barrel imprint is clear. The handwear is not significant, though present on the barrel. The pen is fully restored and working well.
