Product Name Early Lifetime "Flat Top" with a white dot on top of the cap and a Lifetime nib. Short humped clip.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA - 1920s.
Length 5-3/8 inches. This was the oversize model.
Filling System Lever filler - working perfectly with a new sac.
Color Black and pearl with gold plated trim and a white dot on the top of its cap. The "pearls" on the barrel have mellowed with a golden tinge and there is a slight green tinge on the "pearls" of the cap. The black is nice and shiny.
Nib Fine Sheaffer's Lifetime gold nib with a serial number (0035259) .
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks. This is a large, beautiful, shiny pen. The "pearls" have mellowed with amber tinge on the barrel and a slight greenish tinge on the cap. The barrel has light scratching. The lever is heavily scratched/pitted at the top with plating wear at the end. The cap has light to moderate scratching. There are a few small, moderately deep marks between the cap band and the cap lip. The cap band has polishing marks and one tiny dot of pitting. The clip has tiny scratch marks with one tiny dot of plating wear on the left side edge. The white dot is more ecru but it is very nice. The imprints are clear.
