Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Sheaffer Lifetime Triumph. It's the same size as the 1250 model, though we can't see this imprint on the barrel. This model is the slender, war-time version with the wide cap band, called "Standard" in Sheaffer ads.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer USA, circa 1942
Length 5-3/16"
Filling System Vac-filler. We have restored the filling system and it's working very well.
Color Grey striated with chrome-plated trim ... the cap band is approx. 7/8" wide. White dot above clip.
Nib Fine 14k Lifetime Triumph nib, verging on the extra fine.
Condition Very Nice condition with no cracks or chips. This is a classic pen in a beautiful color with excellent barrel transparency. The barrel has mainly light scratching, and some shallow bite marks towards the blind cap. The end of the blind cap has some weirdness where the material's colors didn't come together evenly, but it's not uncommon. The cap has moderate scratching and bite marks. The clip is very rough, with lots of plating wear. The wide cap band has a dent, and we've included a close up of this area in the photos. The white dot above the clip looks great. The imprint is clear.
