Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, USA -- 1993-96, based off of the nib this is the third version of the Model 800 and those are the years it was produced.
Length 5-1/4"
Filling System Takes Sheaffer-style cartridges and converters. A squeeze converter is installed. The piston converter is too long and fat to fit in the barrel. Three semi-dried cartridges are in the box beneath the tray.
Color Sterling silver-etched floral pattern cut-out overlay. Marked Sterling 925 with a hallmark.
Nib MEDIUM 18k Sheaffer's two tone nib is smooth with nice tipping material. Fairly firm, and with no wear in the masking. The nib is unmarked but it looks like a Sheaffer medium for the time period.
Condition Near mint in box. In hand the pen looks mint, but the nature of sterling means that the closer you look the more microscratches and polishing marks you see. No cracks or chips. It's working very well. It ships with the high end Sheaffer packaging including paperwork, ink cartridges, and velvet-line case.
