Filling System |
The snorkel works in combination with the Touchdown filling system. You unscrew the knob to extend the snorkel tube, pull out the piston, immerse it in ink, and push the piston down. Wait 10 seconds and allow the bladder to expand and pull the ink in. Then screw the knob to retract the snorkel, and you are good to go. No need to wipe ink off of anything! The pencil takes .9mm leads. |
Color | Black with brushed chrome cap |
Nib | The nib is a smooth fine PdAg nib. The nib is in good condition and writes nicely, though it looked as though it had been bent and straightened when we got it, and we did a little more work to adjust the nib and make it write smoothly. Excellent ink flow. |
Condition |
Very nice used condition, perfect for every day usage. The cap shows signs of use, but nothing serious aside from general microscratching and w hite dot that's missing a chunk. NO dents or dings on the cap. The trim is very good, no pitting or corrosion. The body is very nice with only light scratches and no cracks or chips. Both writing instruments have been personalized with "COREY D REES" on the barrels. The pencil works well and we put in a new eraser. |
