Filling System The PFM III uses a snorkel filling system. The snorkel works in combination with the Touchdown filling system. Unscrew the knob to extend the snorkel, pull out the piston, immerse the tip of the snorkel in ink, and push the piston down. Wait 10 seconds to allow the bladder to expand and pull the ink in. Then screw the knob to retract the snorkel. No need to wipe ink off of anything. The filling system works well with excellent suction.

Condition Very nice used condition, no cracks or chips, just signs of normal usage. There's some plating wear, but no real brassing except for the sides of the clip. The clip has a small amount of side-to-side play, about 1/16 of an inch. Quite a few scratches and little nicks in the plastic. All in all a great pen for every day usage.
