Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, not marked made in USA, so we are guessing this was made after Sheaffer moved production to China. The model was introduced in 1997, and the booklet inside has a copyright date of 2001.

Filling System Takes Sheaffer style cartridges and converters. Two cartridges are included in the box and a piston converter is installed.
Color Black barrel and section with a line pattern palladium cap and with gold trim. Pearlized jewel on top of the cap. White dot.
Nib MEDIUM two tone steel nib. The nib says M on it.
Condition Excellent +, in box, with paperwork and with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a substantial pen that is very shiny and that has high level executive styling. The pen has been inked. The barrel has light signs of usage, and faint marks caused by posting. The cap has light microscratches here and there; it is very shiny and shimmery. The cap band has some microscratching. The clip has light microscratching. The white dot is perfect. The pearlized cap jewel is perfect. The imprints are clear.
