Filling System Snorkel filler, working very well after we restored it with a new sac, O-ring, and point gasket.
Color Black body with the Sentinel cap, which is stainless steel with gold plated clip and cap band. The steel has a lined pattern. Black ridged section. White dot above the clip.
Nib FINE 14k gold Sheaffer's Triumph style nib is smooth and firm. (Marked F5 on the back of the nib) It is two-toned and has a slight "Waverly" upturn.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This is a beautifully colored, shiny pen, that is a true classic. The barrel has light to moderate scratching, with some long, thin scratch lines and with an area of heavier scratch marks near the end of the barrel. The cap has moderate scratching, mostly microscratching as well as a dent on the very top of the cap. The cap band has moderate microscratching. The clip has light microscratching. The white dot looks good. The imprints are clear.
