Product Name Snorkel Special. This a model very much like the Admiral, except it has an open palladium silver nib as opposed to a 14k open nib.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- 1955-9.
Length 5-9/16 inches.
Filling System Snorkel filler. We've fully restored it with a new sac, point gasket, and O-ring, and it's working very well. We'll send instructions on how to use the snorkel filling system.
Color Burgundy body and cap with gold plated trim and a 1/4 inch wide cap band.
Nib FINE Sheaffer's F6 Palladium Silver nib. It's smooth and somewhat firm.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautiful, shiny pen in a classic design and in a great color. The barrel has light to moderate scratching with one longer (3/8") scratch near a breather hole at the end. There are also a couple of tooth marks at the end of the barrel. The cap has light to moderate scratching. The cap band and clip have microscratching. The imprints are clear.
