Type Vintage Touchdown fountain pen
Product Name Sheaffer Sovereign, as identified by the cap. This is basically a non-white dot version of the Statesman and predates the steel caps usually associated with the Sovereign Touchdown models.

Filling System Touchdown filler. We've replaced the sac and the O-ring. It's fully restored and working very well.
Color Burgundy cap and barrel with a 1/4" cap band and a pale amber viewing window. The trim is gold plated. There is a nib size sticker on the section and an original price sticker under the clip.
Nib FINE 14k nib is two-toned.
Condition Excellent + condition with original price and nib size stickers, and with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny pen in a classic design, in a good color, and with nice hand-size. The barrel has a few marks caused by posting and otherwise light scratchiing. The cap has mainly light signs of usage with an area of scratch marks toward the top of the cap. The clip and cap band are excellent. There is some wear or corrosion of the metal barrel threads.
