Filling System Snorkel filler - restored and working perfectly. We'll send instructions on how to use the snorkel filling system.
Color Burgundy body and cap. Gold plated trim. Wide, 3/8" cap band with simple border etched within.
Nib BROAD palladium-silver conical Triumph nib, very smoooooth. It's got just a hint of stubby character to it, with downstrokes that are wider than the cross strokes. There is a small (1/16" long) crack in the left shoulder of the nib, visible in the picture with the snorkel tube extended. This pen should be used with a light hand, especially since there is no flex and putting pressure on the nib is a waste of time! See our writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. Both cap and barrel have light scratching and normal hand wear. There is some brassing on the top edge of the cap band. The sides of the clip have plating wear, but the face looks great. The White Dot is perfect! There is a tiny mark at the bottom of the end cap grooves; it's about 1/16" long. The imprint is clear. There is a very small personalization just above the imprint, consisting of the initials "AJ". The pen is working very well.
You can see the nib crack here:
Note here what may be the smallest personalization that we have ever seen:
