Filling System The fountain pen takes Sheaffer style refills and converters. A squeeze converter is installed.
Color Gold plated cap and barrel with a grouped lines pattern. It has a blank space for personalization which has been used.
Nib FINE gold colored nib. During this time period, Sheaffer didn't always mark their gold nibs so it could be 14k or it could be gold plated. It writes on the extra-fine side but is labeled F. The slit has small dents around it but it writes smoothly.
Condition Very Nice condition. It has handwear and a few pitting marks on the cap. There is also some plating wear around the clip. The barrel has polishing marks and handwear. The pen has been personalized, "S. O. Lyman." The clip wiggles in place. It's working well with no scratches or dents.
