Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen.
Product Name Stylist w Two-Way nib (see this PenHero reference for a great article on this nib and model.)
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, USA -- 1966-69.
Length 5-7/16"
Filling System The fountain pen takes Sheaffer style refills and converters. We have fitted it with a squeeze converter.
Color Metallic/shimmery green plastic barrel and section, with gold-plated cap. The cap has a pattern of lines.
Nib Fine gold colored "two-way" nib. During this time period, Sheaffer didn't always mark their gold nibs so it could be 14k or it could be gold plated. The nib can be used both ways but there's no much difference in line width.
Condition Excellent condition. The cap has a dent on one side, and we've included closeup shots of this area. There is light handwear and scratching. No brassing or plating wear on the cap. The trim on the pen does have brassing, and some pitting. The imprints are clear. Rather than a White Dot, this pen has an "S" on the clip; this logo replaced the White Dot on Sheaffer's higher end pens in 1966, but the familiar White Dot returned in 1969.
