Product Name Targa 1001S Slim version. White Dot. This is the early version of the 1001 with brushed stainless steel cap, body and top part. (They later changed the material to chrome and the top part was smooth and shiny.)
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in U.S.A. -- 1980s.
Length Just under 5-3/8 inches.
Filling System It takes slim Sheaffer style cartridges and converters. You can use the included Kaweco Sport squeeze converter to fill it from bottled ink. The original Sheaffer slim squeeze converters are hard to find, but we've found these simple Kaweco Sport converters work well.
Color Stainless steel with brushed finish and chrome plated trim.
Nib MEDIUM Sheaffer steel nib. This is the later style slim Targa nib, a partial wrap-around nib similar to the Montblanc 1970s nibs and also the nib style Sheaffer used on the Fashion 1 pens.
Condition New old stock and in perfect condition. No dents or dings, cracks or chips, personalization, or plating wear. A working converter is installed.
