Filling System The fountain pen takes Sheaffer cartridges, or you can fill from bottled ink using the included squeeze converter. (These classic Targas also accept the modern piston converter.) The ballpoint pen uses standard Sheaffer cartridges.
Color Gold electroplated bodies and caps, with a parallel line pattern. This pattern is the Targa 1005 "fluted" pattern.
Nib FINE 14k gold nib is long diamond inlaid style.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips or dents. This is a beautiful, elegant, glinty gold pen set that is shiny and impressive. The fountain pen has mainly small scratches with some tiny dot marks. The edge of the end of the barrel has plating wear. The cap has light to moderate microscratching. The clip has moderate scratching along the face. The white dot is slightly yellowed. There is plating wear along the bottom edge of the top piece. The ballpoint pen has moderate microscratching on the cap and barrel portions. There is light plating wear along some of the lined ridges and on the cap lip. The clip has light plating wear along the bottom edge and a near the white dot. The white dot is yellowed and has a scratch at the top. The imprints on both pieces are clear.
