Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully colored, shiny pen, with a very wide (7/8") cap band, and with lovely ambered transparency. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and one wide streak of tiny dot marks that runs the length of the barrel. The cap has some short and medium deep scratches especially near the top alongside the clip. The wide cap band makes a statement. It has a bit of plating wear along the top and bottom edges and some pitting at the top edge. It has light to moderate microscratching. The clip has plating wear along the flat ball end and some pitting at the top. The white dot has a few small scratches and is very slightly yellowed. The imprint is clear.
The cap screws on and unscrews securely, however once it is screwed on it is possible to turn the cap further. We think this is because the step down on the barrel is rounded and not sharp enough to stop the cap from turning.
