Product Name Triumph Valiant. This is the oversize fat version.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- 1940s.
Length 5-1/4".
Filling System Vac Fil. We've replaced the piston and seals and it's working well.
Color Brown striated with gold plated trim, a white dot, and a wide cap band 5/8" wide with etched lines on each side of the band. Greenish/amber viewing window.
Nib FINE two-tone conical 14k Triumph nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a fat, beautifully colored pen with an impressive gold cap band. The striation makes it difficult to see scratches. There is a small splotch of scratching mid-barrel along with some posting lines and light scratching at the end of the barrel. The cap has a little scratch to the right of the center of the clip. The clip has some light plating wear on the right edge. The imprints are clear.
