Filling System The fountain pen is an accordion filler. It is tested and working well and is used by removing the blind cap and pushing down on the plastic piece at the end. These pens take very special sacs, so you should be careful and use very gentle inks that will not cause the sac to be damaged. The pencil leads extend and retract via a twist mechanism. It takes 1.3mm leads and has an eraser beneath the cap. A few leads are in the barrel.
Color Both have a bright blue barrel with some teal tones. The caps are gold plated with a lined pattern. The caps have white jewels.
Nib Broad steel nib. The nib writes with a bit of tooth the closer to perpendicular the pen is held to the page but it has a large smooth spot for easy writing. The nib has a large ball of "tipping".
Condition Superior condition. There is some wear on the gold parts of the pen and pencil but the blue plastic parts looks pristine. The cap imprints are easily read. They ship in their original box. No cracks, chips, dents, or scratches. They work very well.
