Manufacturer and Year Sterling Fountain Pen Co., USA -- 1900s or 1910s. Note that this pen has imprints for two different companies but we believe it was made by Sterling Fountain Pen Co. and not Ihling Bros. & Everard.
Length Just over 5-5/8"
Filling System Eyedropper filler. It has been cleaned and tested. We will include instructions and some silicone grease.
Color Black hard rubber, BHR. No carved decorations or trim.
Nib EXTRA FINE FLEXIBLE Sterling Fountain Pen Co. #4 gold nib. The tines are very soft and it causes the nib to be misaligned easily. We flexed the nib as much as were comfortable with for the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition. The three sets of imprints are clear. The material has lightened some with a gradient of darkness. There is some barrel wear from capping and posting.
