Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen in lovely condition, though the nib has some damage.
Product Name Unknown
Manufacturer and Year Sterling Fountain Pen Co. was a pen maker in Boston, Mass between 1901 and the mid 1920s.
Length 5-5/8"
Filling System Eyedropper. We'll include instructions and a bit of silicone grease so that you can keep the threads ink-tight.
Color Black smooth hard rubbber. No trim.
Nib FLEX IBLE, but lacking in tipping material so it is not smooth. There's a short crack running from the breather hole to the "N" in Fountain which does not affect writing at this time. We can't guarantee this nib, so we expect this pen will largely be of interest to collectors ... the nib can be repaired.
Condition Very nice condition with hardly any hand wear and no browning, but with the nib flaws as mentioned earlier. Good imprint. The slip-cap is a good snug fit. It has been cleaned and tested and it is working well, though the nib needs work. (We'll guarantee it for a year.)
