Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name Ventidue 22. The "22" refers to the titanium nib due to titanium having atomic number 22. The early model was known for having flow issues and this is indeed an early model, but we didn't notice any flow problems during our testing. We guarantee the pen.
Manufacturer and Year Stipula, Italy -- Early 2000s
Length 5-1/8"
Filling System It is a piston filler. It's been tested and it's working well.
Color It is a gray pearlescent material labeled "Greggio Grey" when used on the Ventidue. It has a gray ink reservoir and a black blind cap. The trim is rhodium plated and physical vapor deposition (PVD) treated to prevent wear.
Nib 1.3mm Titanium nib. It is a small nib with obvious modern flex. While titanium tines spread easily, they also are easy to "spring" or get stuck too far apart. You cannot treat it like a steel nib.
Condition Near mint condition with few signs of usage. No cracks, scratches or chips. There are a couple marks on the cap band but no plating wear. The imprint is clear. It ships in a Ventidue box with paperwork and a full bottle of what looks like black ink, but the packaging is missing the original Stipula box which was inside the outer box.
