Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name Ventidue 22. The "22" refers to the titanium nib due to titanium having atomic number 22. The early model was known for having flow issues and this is indeed an early model, but we didn't notice any flow problems during our testing. We guarantee the pen.
Manufacturer and Year Stipula, Italy -- Early 2000s
Length 5-1/8"
Filling System It is a piston filler. It's been tested and it's working well.
Color It is a gray pearlescent material labeled "Greggio Grey" when used on the Ventidue. There is a yellowish area in the material in the cap, we think it might be something that occurred at the factory. It has a gray ink reservoir and a black blind cap. The trim is rhodium plated and physical vapor deposition (PVD) treated to prevent wear.
Nib FINE Titanium nib. It is a small nib with obvious modern flex. While titanium tines spread easily, they also are easy to "spring" or get stuck too far apart. You cannot treat it like a steel nib.
Condition Near mint condition with few signs of usage. The yellow in the cap isn't a normal part of the gray celluloid, it might be a discoloration of the glue used inside the cap. No cracks, scratches or chips. There are a couple marks on the cap band but no plating wear. The imprint is clear. It ships in Stipula box in Ventidue box with paperwork and a full bottle of what looks like black ink.
