Product Description
Type Lever filling fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name The Lincoln Pen.
Manufacturer and Year National Pen Products, Chicago -- made in the later 1920s, judging by the styling and material.
Length Just under 5-1/2 inches.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Smooth black celluloid with gold plated trim.
Nib FINE Warranted 14k gold #8 nib is smooth with nice tipping material. It's not quite what we would call full flex, but more than semi-flex. Nice line variation under very light pressure from fine to a nice broad, and more with a bit more pressure.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks or chips, dings, dents, or personalization. There are small marks of brassing here and there on the cap's trim. There are some small scratches on the cap and barrel including marks from the cap sliding into posting position on the barrel. Still, the pen generally looks very clean and shiny, and the imprint is only very slightly worn, still fully readable. We've fully restored the pen and it's working well.
