Product Name Tibaldi Iride Limited Edition. This is #413/1100. Unnumbered Iride pens exist due to pens made from excess celluloid stock, but this is not one of them.
Manufacturer and Year Tibaldi, made in Italy by Stipula -- 1997.
Length 5-5/8 inches.
Filling System Vacuum filler system with rubber plunger. We've fully cleaned and tested the pen and it's working very well.
Color Pearl brown, transparent red, and black celluloid in a cracked ice pattern. The pen has three thin cap bands and gold plated trim.
Nib BROAD 18k Bock nib with the Tibaldi imprint.It is labeled L. In the 1990s, some makers used L instead of B. Though the nib has a bit on an italic cut, it doesn't have enough line variation to merit a writing sample. It is a subtle italic at best.
Condition Superior Condition with hardly any scratches or marks. There is a tiny mark on the left side of the clip and handwear throughout. The imprints are clear, including the Tibaldi imprint beneath the clip. The pen has no cracks or chips or personalization. We've cleaned, tested it and adjusted the nib -- it's working very well.
Ships in heavy crystal display case/box with booklet. The box is cracked on one of the sides but it doesn't stand out too much.
