Product Name Visconti Voyager, this is an uncommon celluloid pen that pre-dates the later 10th Anniversary Coral Celluloid.
Manufacturer and Year Visconti, Italy, 1996. (The anniversary edition came out in 1998)
Length 5-9/16 inches.
Filling System Power filler piston system. We've fully cleaned and tested the pen and it's working very well.
Color Coral red-orange celluloid with gold plated trim. The band has a pattern of Vs.
Nib 18k Visconti Firenze nib. It started as a broad tip that was modified to write with differing line variation depending on angle of writing. At a typical "normal" angle it writes like a stub (or broad italic), or if perpendicular to the page as a fine, or if flatter to the page as a wet broad. The results are similar to the Sailor "Zoom" nib. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition with some ink stains above the cap threads on the section and some dark areas on and around the cap band. The pen looks great but pre-owned. There is also wear on the cap medallion and the blind cap doesn't perfectly line up perfectly with the body. Ships with wooden Voyager box.
