Filling System Captive converter, or piston, filling system. It works like a standard piston filler, but a tug will remove the piston knob and reveal the converter. We've fully cleaned and tested the pen with water and it's working very well. It has not been inked.
Color Black lucite cap, barrel, and section, with sterling silver overlay. The barrel of both the pen and the inkpot are hallmarked 925.
Nib MEDIUM Visconti Firenze 14k nib is smooth.
Condition Near Mint condition, in box with paperwork. We found no evidence that the pen has been inked. There are some faint handling marks on both the pen and inkpot. The inkwell has some light scratching on the window's surface. No dents, cracks, chips, or major scratches. Ships in large box that includes the pen, the traveling ink pot, an eyedropper for filling the inkwell, and paperwork.
