Filling System Takes international cartridges and converters. A piston converter is installed. The cone of the pen has two slits in it that take in ink when using the piston converter. The system works very well but it does take a while to flush the color out completely. Because the slits are towards the top of the cone, it is also more prone to splashing when flushed. Over time the tips can wear out and replacement ones can be purchased. A replacement tip is installed.
Color Red marbled variegated resin with chrome trim. Cap has original Visconti sticker.
Condition Near mint, in box, with paperwork and with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully colored pen that is shiny and new looking. The cap and barrel have light microscratching. The cap band looks great. The clip has some small microscratches near the top. All imprints are clear.
