Product Description
Type Modern luxury fountain pen
Product Name Rinascimento Vienna (marked on the blind cap)
Manufacturer and Year Visconti, Italy -- Early 2000s.
Length 5-7/16"
Filling System This looks like a captured converter system and operates like a standard piston pen. ("Captured converter" just means that you access the end of the converter to turn the piston via the end of the barrel, as opposed to the more standard method of unscrewing the barrel/section. The converter can be removed to use standard cartridges.)
Color The body is mostly black, with a lovely sterling silver filigree pattern on the barrel. The clip is hallmarked sterling silver, and there is a rhinestone set into the top of the cap.
Nib Medium 14k nib. It has silver colored masking, probably rhodium.
Condition Excellent condition, in box. There is light handwear and microscratching on the cap. The clip has a bit of a patina and slightly rough finish. The filigree pattern on the barrel is bright and shiny and looks lovely. The imprints are clear.
