Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a large, impressive, heavy pen. The black lucite areas on the cap and blind cap look excellent with just some microscratching, especially on the blind cap. The "1" has tiny dots of tarnish and there are some similar dots along some of the outlining and short lined areas surrounding the cap band and barrel (we suspect this is where the clear coating was thin and the sterling was allowed to tarnish slightly). There are some odd marks on the top band above the clip (see photos) which we also attribute to the clear coating. All imprints are crystal clear.
