Product Description
Type Eco Roller Pen
Product Name Van Gogh Collection Eco Roller
Manufacturer and Year Visconti, Italy -- The color was released in 2011.
Length 5-5/8"
Filling System Takes international cartridges and converters. A piston converter is installed. The cone of the pen has two slits in it that take in ink when using the piston converter. The system works very well but it does take a while to flush the color out completely. Because the slits are towards the top of the cone, it is also more prone to splashing when flushed. Over time the tips can wear out and replacement ones can be purchased. A replacement tip is included as well as an ink cartridge.
Color Rich and luxurious yellow coloring (reminiscent of Van Gogh's "Sunflowers") on a pen with thin facets and with chrome trim.
Condition Excellent + condition, in triangle-shaped box, with paperwork, an ink cartridge and an extra rollerball tip. The cap and barrel are really beautifully colored with various hues of yellow as well as a little bit of red tinge and black under the surface coloring (especially on the cap). It is very diffiult to see scratches on this yellow facted surface. There are at most some small microscratches. The cap has a small hairline crack starting from the right hand corner of the clip piece that is on the back side of the clip. The top of the clip has a tad of plating wear; otherwise, the clip is excellent. The 5/16" cap band is ornate and looks great. The imprints are clear.
