Type Vintage ring top fountain pen by Wahl Pen
Product Name Wahl #2 - the nib is marked "Wahl #2."

Length 3-1/2". Note that although this was originally a ringtop style pen, the ring is missing.
Filling System Lever filler, working well with a new sac. We guarantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase.
Color 14k gold filled (marked on the top edge of the cap) with a pattern of lengthwise grouped lines. Note that the pattern on the cap is slightly different from the pattern on the barrel - the cap has groups of 6 lines, and the barrel has groups of 5 lines. The pen is black hard rubber under the gold filled overlay.
Nib FINE FLEXIBLE 14k Wahl nib with good line variation. The tines spread with minimal pressure.
Condition Excellent condition. There is some brassing on the last 1/4" of the barrel from posting the cap, as well as some where the cap screws onto the barrel. The cap fits really snugly, so brassing is almost inevitable in these areas. The barrel and cap have some tiny dents and scattered dots of pitting. There is a ring of brassing around the top edge of the cap. The ringtop hardware is missing. There's a small nick on the cap where it looks like it was tested for gold content. As with all metal pens, there are many polishing marks.
