Filling System The fountain pen is a lever filler. A new sac has been installed and it is working well.
Color Gold filled "check" (sometimes called "unique") pattern. Repeating panel of checks in a line pattern aound the cap and barrel. This gold is an overlay over black hard rubber.
Nib FINE FLEXIBLE 14k Wahl #5 nib. It is a large nib and offers very good line variation. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. The section has a lot of scratching and dots of plating wear. There are marks and brassing on the barrel from capping. The patterned portion of the barrel looks pretty good, with just microscratching and some tiny dots of pitting. The end of the barrel has brassing where the cap has beenn posted, as well as small dings or tooth marks. The cap has a lot of tiny dings at the top, as well as brassing around the top edge. Again, the patterned portion looks pretty good. The cap lip has a lot of brassing. The clip has some tiny dings and brassing along the edges. The cap imprint is clear.
