Filling System Lever filler. We've restored this pen with a new sac, and it's working well.
Color Black hard rubber in a wavy chased pattern with gold filled trim (marked 14k 1/10th on clip. One-half inch cap band marked 18-1/8. There is a personalization on the cap band, "EEL" in a swirly caligraphy.
Nib FLEXIBLE Wahl Tempoint Pen #2 nib. See writing sample below. Not super soft, but it flexes easily and gives line variation from extra fine to medium.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a dark, shiny pen with excellent intact chasing and an impressive gold cap band. The barrel has mainly light scratching on the chasing. The area under the chasing near the end of the barrel has moderate scratching. The lever has microscratching and a dot of plating wear. The cap is excellent. The gold cap band has a personalization, "EEL" in a scrolled calligraphy. It has some faint scratches, a few deep dot marks, and a small scratches that look like "513 x GL" (or something like that). The clip is lovely. All imprints are clear.
