Filling System Lever filler. The filling system is working well with a brand new sac.
Color "Brazilian Green" marble with gold plated trim. Black end caps with gold plated accent rings. The color is excellent.
Nib Gold Seal Signature nib is fine and semi-flexible. Lots of tipping material.
Condition This pen has been used, but it is in superior condition. The coloration is quite good, better than you usually see.
The cap is excellent with no cracks in the cap lip, which is rather rare for this model. Very minor brassing, only one little dot on the lever. The body is excellent, though it is personalized with a name (Eldon R Hughes). It has very good threads that have no cracks or breakage, though we did notice the beginning of a crack which we had repaired by Wahl expert Syd Saperstein (Wahlnut on FPN).
