Product Name Doric "vest pocket".
Manufacturer and Year Wahl Eversharp, made in USA -- 1931-35, this is one of the original Doric colors.
Length 4-5/8", there is a lot of size variation among the Wahl Eversharp pens.
Filling System Lever filler. We've replaced the sac and tested it. It's working very well, and we will guarantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase.
Color Morocco Pearl was Wahl's name for this burgundy celluloid pattern. Gold filled trim with a patterned cap band that is about 1/4" wide.
Nib FINE Eversharp "Flexible" Gold Seal 14k nib. It writes with good line variation, from fine to broad. See the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. The end of the barrel and top of the cap are both showing some of the typical crystallization that often happens with these lovely celluloids. The top of the cap has some bite marks. The clip has light scratching on the face, and plating wear along the sides. The Gold Seal looks great. The cap band has brassing and some plating wear. The section looks good, no heavy scratching or tool marks. The barrel has light to moderate scratching and handwear. The lever bar has brassing on the edges and high points. The imprint on the cap is legible. The pen has been fully restored and it's working very well.
