Product Description
Type Mechanical pencil.
Product Name Coronet
Manufacturer and Year Wahl Eversharp - They made this line of pencils from 1937 to '41
Length 5-1/8"
Filling System Takes thin style 0.9mm leads, which it extends via the repeater, or cap actuated system that Eversharp first used in this line of pencils. You push the eraser-cap down to extend the leads, just like on modern pencils. We'll enclose a small container of leads.
Color Gold filled finish with sort of reddish marble pyralin inserts to make a beautiful pattern of triangles around the pen in three places.
Condition Excellent condition with some small spots of wear. There's a tiny, very light indent in the lower barrel, some light plating wear and small scratches on the cone piece, and just a little very light wear on the upper clip. The little metal piece which holds the top eraser piece sticks up just a tiny bit farther than it's supposed to (see the last photo below), but this does not affect the pencil's functionality. It's gorgeous, with only tiny spots of wear. Working very well.
The barrel is engraved "W.E.L." (see photos).
