Length The base is diamond shaped with 4" sides. The pen holder is 31/2" high . The pen is 8-5/16" long.
Filling System Lever filler, restored here at PSP with a new sac.
Color Marbled pearl and black with black end and section. The base is a bone colored marble with gold veins. The pen holder is black with gold trim -- it is wide and has a flared top piece. It is attached to the base with a copper ball and stand. The bottom of the stand has its original green felt with the original Eversharp sticker.
Nib Eversharp Gold Seal 14k Manifold nib. Broad.
Condition Superior condition with no cracks, dents, or dings. This is a lovely, elegant, classic pen in a beautiful holder and on a pretty base. The fountain pen is long and tapered with excellent coloring and just a bit of darkening just under the section. The lever has a small area of pitting at the very top. Otherwise, the trim is excellent. The holder is in beautiful condition and the imprints on the gold band near the ball are clear. The ball and holder that attach the pen holder to the base has some brassing but it is shiny and nice. The base is beautiful with small chips on the front and right corners, a small chip on the right front side and a scratch on the top right side near the right corner. The felt bottom has some holes and wear along the edges and some discoloring around the edges.
