Type Vintage Desk Pen with Base
Product Name Desk Pen
Manufacturer and Year Wahl Eversharp USA - 1920s or 1930s
Length The base is 2.5" square, and 3/4" tall. The pen is 7-7/8" long.
Filling System Lever filler, restored here at PSP with a new sac.
Color The pen is coral celluloid with black tail and section, and the base is a lovely black stone with light brown and white veins.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE 14k size 2 Wahl nib. It is smooth and flexible - see writing sample below..
Condition Excellent. The base has a small chip in one of the bottom corners, but is otherwise in great shape, nice and heavy. The pen is equally nice, with no cracks or chips. There are some faint tooth marks on the tail end of the pen. The coral-colored celluloid is nicely uniform, very little fading or discoloration, and really rich and shiny. The trim looks great and the imprint is clear.
