Product Description
Type | Vintage mechanical pencil working well |
Product Name | Unknown .... they made many different versions with different patterns |
Manufacturer and Year | Wahl Eversharp - 1920s circa or possibly 1930s |
Length | 5-1/4" |
Filling System | Takes 1.1mm (aka "Thick") leads and extends lead in the traditional twist method. As is the case with most Eversharp pencils, it extends leads very well, but you have to push the leads back in. We will include a small packet of lead. |
Color | Gold filled with a nickel or chrome plated tip, which is very worn. The pattern is interesting . . . lined and solid portions make up a repeating chevron pattern. |
Condition | Very nice condition. No dents or dings. There's some minor hand wear and light hand wear on the barrel, and the cone is pretty worn and damaged, though it still holds the leads tight. The back piece (the part you twist to extend lead) is pretty loose: as most older Eversharp pencils do, it slides back as part of the mechanism to extend lead, but this one slides very easily. It's working very well. |
